Eric Jones practices in the area of corporate and business law, counseling privately held companies and their owners in structuring, negotiating, and closing strategic transactions. His experience includes stock and asset acquisitions, financings, mergers, entity conversions and dissolutions, commercial transactions, and corporate governance matters. Eric advises on entity formation, investment-banker and accounting-firm engagement letters, term sheets and letters of intent, shareholder agreements, and general commercial contracts, including master services agreements, statements of work, and indemnity. He also regularly works with clients' outside tax advisors to address tax issues relating to transactions.
Eric enjoys confronting and solving complex challenges for clients of the firm.
Eric earned his Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law. Additionally, he graduated summa cum laude from the California State University at Northridge with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Business Administration (Honors in Business Option).
